Collaboration

Collaboration Stars | Better Brand Agency and Ithica Films

Developing, leading and proud. Just a few words you can use to describe Teesside’s booming digital companies.

In our first ever Digital Teesside, Collaboration Stars we look at Ithica Films and Better Brand Agency’s recent collaboration on work for the High Tide Foundation.

Ithica Films recently worked with Better to produce a film to tell the story of the High Tide Foundation.

High Tide is an independent charitable Foundation which delivers life changing career experiences with the help of Tees Valley businesses. The charity aims to show young people in Teesside the amazing career opportunities on their doorstep by improving their skills and confidence through work experience.

Ithica Film’s work for High Tide

Both ‘Boro lads, Mark Easby, Managing Director of Better and Matt McGough, Managing Director of Ithica Films are both central figures in the Digital Teesside industry and were pleased to get together on such a worthwhile project.

Mark said: “Collaboration within Teesside is important because a lot of us are like-minded people offering niche services.

“We can keep more opportunities in Teesside by servicing the concept of collaborating. We can trade skill sets, the people within businesses are much more powerful together.

“Working with Matt on this project is really special. Matt lives and breathes the importance of the industry as well as delivering work experience for High Tide.”

Matt said: “We have a real open dialogue with Better. When the brand works as strong as the stuff Better produces it’s great to get their thoughts and throw ideas around before we pick up our cameras.

“We’ve known Better a while and it’s been interesting to see how both of our journeys as companies have developed.

“There’s a high level of trust between digital companies in Teesside, we know we all have our specialisms and this gives us an opportunity to do great things together.”
