From photographing Stormzy to your staff

A 24-year-old photographer from Teesside has taken to the roads to offer a professional portrait studio on wheels, following his experience shooting some of the biggest names in the Premier League and at London Fashion Week.

Jamie Tyerman, the entrepreneur behind PictureVan, is bringing the UK’s first professional portrait studio on wheels to the North East and is coming directly to the doors of businesses to take headshots.

Jamie has worked on clothing shoots for luxurious men’s store END Clothing. His photographs have also featured on Ted Baker campaigns and in 2018 he won the Anjool Maldé Photography Award for Commercial Photography.

Jamie said: “The North East is currently thriving with successful businesses and I’m excited to launch and begin work with them.

“PictureVan offers a unique understanding of what companies want. Providing businesses with creative and uniformed photography for their staff headshots.”

From the Boro to Glesga’

Middlesbrough based PPC agency, Mabo, has this week announced the opening of its new office in Glasgow.

Since the company began seven years ago, it has grown to employ more than 50 staff and with the opening of the new office hopes to increase that to over 100.

Having an office based in Glasgow will allow the company to expand its clientele as well as continue to serve existing clients from its Albert Road HQ.

Find future employees at ExpoTalent 2020

An opportunity to speak to the talent joining the workplace this year at ExpoTalent 2020 is taking place on Wednesday March 11

The interactive exhibition gives you the opportunity to connect with new talent in the digital industry and helps to tackle the skills shortage which so many Teesside tech companies are struggling with.

Students from computer science, digital media and web, games, animation, journalism, film production and the arts will exhibit their portfolios and ideas to future employers.

The event offers the opportunity to recruit students for placements, internships and future employment and can help to raise awareness of your business as a future employer to Teesside University graduates.

Held between 1:30-5pm in Europa and IT Building, you can book your place at ExpoTalent 2020 here.
